The story of how love, fidelity and friendship help former orphans to achieve justice and defeat an all-powerful official who built a business on disadvantaged people. Dasha Polyakova (Daria Rudenok) was a favorite child and an excellent student at school, but at the age of twelve she got into a car accident with her parents. The parents died, and the girl was sent to an orphanage. It took Dasha many years to get used to the harsh grandfather's laws, but she was able to become her own there and find real friends. Several years pass. Graduation is approaching. Dasha is happy - childhood friend Gosha Vishnevsky (Nikita Pavlenko) made her an offer, and soon she will go to Moscow - the director of the orphanage and the head of the guardianship department (Anatoly Kot) knocked her out a quota to study at the pedagogical college. But everything is not going the way Dasha expected. Suddenly Gosha goes to jail for stealing from a jewelry store. Dasha leaves to study, tries to contact him, but her ex-fiance refuses to communicate with her.
